The low-cost market provides a number of commodities, such as meat, cooking oil, and rice, at affordable prices.
"This area was chosen because its location and environmental conditions are very conducive to holding events. The government-organized low-cost market aims to provide more affordable prices for the public," he explained.
He hopes that the duration of the bazaar can be extended to three days or more, especially for the sale of basic necessities that are greatly needed by the community during Ramadan and ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
Meanwhile, Sulastri, a local resident, appreciated the bazaar and low-cost market held in her area. She admitted that the commodities sold are cheaper compared to the market.
"I bought meat at Rp 105,000 per kilogram. It's cheaper compared to others," she admitted.
